Melinda Shearer, PT, OCS, SCS has joined our team and we could not be more excited to have her on board! Melinda is the newest addition to our Bend East clinic.
Melinda will be working with a wide range patient population and using her strong interpersonal communication skills to assist patients in their return to health.
Melinda comes to Central Oregon from Portland, OR where she has practiced the last 15 years specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine, and post operative PT. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Whitworth College, and continued on to Eastern Washington University, receiving her Masters in Physical Therapy, followed by her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana. Melinda is presently working on Stott Pilates Certification to further her orthopedic specialty.
When not treating in the clinic, Melinda Shearer PT enjoys trail running, cooking and spending time playing outdoors with husband and 2 year old son. She is looking forward to exploring the lakes and rivers of Central Oregon with her paddle board.
